MySpace lost many years of customer files, music, pictures, etc.

My fear is this data loss could repeat.
I want Adobe to allow customer content to be stored on customers' own equipment, like in the old days.
--------
MySpace lost 12-years of customer-created data, files, music, pictures...history, and "we get" is,
"we are sorry...the data is unretrievable"...

This is why I am opposed to the Cloud at Adobe. It is the same as placing my life's achievements in the care of a stranger, and there are no consequences except my own grief and consternation.
This can be avoided, Adobe can give storage preferences back to its customer-base.
This centralized storage, The Cloud, is the complete opposite for the purpose of the Internet, where multiple copies of files exist in the event of human or technical failures.
