HI BSW,
Thanks for sharing the log files with us . It seems like that we hare having trouble extracting the file may be because of an Antivirus running in the background or with the permissions on the machine . Can you please try the following stuff on your machine .
1) Please try renaming the folder C:\Users\brian\AppData\Local\Adobe\AAMUpdater\1.0 and try creating a fresh package and include the update as well .
2) If the above mentioned doesnt work , please try the same in a new Admin account and check .
