Hi Shawn, yes it's quite frustrating. You may also need to consider a couple of other things as well that may be hindering the instllation of the msi:
- When we have run our script "manually" through VNC (there are manual steps but the script ultimately runs at the end) many times it halts due to background services from Apple, such a ituneshelper.exe. You may want to look at this so your process can continue.
- You most certainly need to run this as an admin, the best success I've had is runas with the local admin account (not domain admin)
- The running (or "looping") msi's as I like to call them may be blocked by the issue with Visual C++ Redist. Perhaps try and run your install manually to see if this warning popup comes through.
