Creative Cloud Packager: "Oops, something has gone wrong"

I've been troubleshooting this one for a while now, I've come to the conclusion that the issue (for me) is not network or firewall related. I get the error on a completely open wireless network, no firewalls involved. When I run CCP it goes through 1% and then when it gets to 2% and the status is "downloading", I get the "Oops" error. I looked, and it's showing that Adobe Bridge has been partially downloaded. I suspect at this point that the error is being caused by CCP being unable to do anything with that partially downloaded Bridge.

So my question is how do I COMPLETELY uninstall CCP including all prefs files and especially how do I trash any partially downloaded software? It's looking like if I could remove that partial Bridge download it would probably work after that. This is on OS X 10.9.
