I've been working most of the day today to create packages for our users that most closely resemble the old Creative Suite packages that most of them are use to. I get the package created and then try to run the setup in order to make sure the package works. It appears to start the installation process and even gets to the point where it says it is configuring the install. Then it disappears and nothing else happens. Nothing is installed. I've tried installing from a network share and installing it locally. I would go look for log files to see if something went wrong, but I have no idea where to find any such log files. I've tried it on a virtual machine and on a physical PC. I'm having no luck and am getting very frustrated.
I would be ever so grateful if someone could help me figure out either what I'm doing wrong during the install or the packaging process. I know the Acrobat install is unique and I've mastered that one. These packages do not include Acrobat and that was deliberate. Is there some trick to getting multi-app packages to install correctly? There is nothing in the Exceptions folder, so I don't think that is part of the problem.
