At my company, we are running into problems with some Creative Cloud installer packages for Mac created with CCP, some of the time.
When installing the package locally from the desktop, the Installer.app fails with this message:
'Install Failed' UI displayed message:'The Installer encountered an error that caused the installation to fail. Contact the software manufacturer for assistance.'
An example of the Adobe Setup Error.log is attached. It includes:
ERROR: DW040: The product "{C3409B0A-ACE8-11E2-9ED3-A79B9175A9A8}" is not installed. Cannot proceed with the uninstall
Please search the above error/warning string(s) to find when the error occurred.
These errors resulted in installer Exit Code mentioned below.

Please see specific errors and warnings for troubleshooting. For example, ERROR: DW040 ...
Similar messages with other product IDs occur appear in the log.
The package that I’m having this issue with was built with the following components:
- Bridge CC
- InCopy CC
- InDesign CC
- Illustrator CC
- Photoshop CC
Is anyone familiar with this error and is there a way to resolve?
