Romit - thank you for your help. I will have time this evening to try the suggested solutions from the KB article as well as enabling the built-in administrator account and hope to meet with success.
A couple of questions: [1] how is it that you have my installation log file? Did that get sent to adobe when I installed? Does it get sent everytime I install? [2] where and in what log file did you find the 1603 error? Does the msi package or setup program return that code in some form?
