Acrobat DC install with CCP, ExceptionDeployer or not?

I tried installing Acrobat DC for first time today and it appears the install as compared to Acrobat XI is different but still doesn't use the proper ccp installer yet (WHY OH WHY NOT?) When I tried to run ExceptionDeployer with "ExceptionDeployer --workflow=install --mode=pre --installLanguage=en_US" it stops with return code 0. I looked in log and it said the Arcobat 15 install could only be run in post. I then went and installed the setup in Build folder. After I returned to Exceptions folder and ran "ExceptionDeployer --workflow=install --mode=post" and it seemed to install fine.

Then I find Creative Cloud Help | Deploying Adobe Acrobat and it says don't use ExceptionDeployer at all (why wasn't ExceptionInfo.txt updated to reflect this then?) Rather to run some ridiculously long command line on setup in Exceptions\APRO15.0en_US\Adobe Acrobat. (Also that site says 12.0 dir name instead of 15.0)

Questions:

1. What state is the install where I used exceptiondeployer (as instructed by log file)?

2. Which way is the proper install method?

3. Why doesn't this use CCP install wizard like every other Adobe app (except maybe lightroom or did CC fix that?)

Thanks.
