Problems adding Acrobat DC to existing clients using CCP (Windows)

Is there any way of doing a silent, scripted install of Acrobat Pro DC onto clients using a CCP-created package (with the Exceptions Deployer)? Even if I have a script uninstall Acrobat XI first, the Exceptions Deployer still skips the Acrobat install. Is the only way to do this to use the Customization Wizard with the CC license key?
