Our security manager wants us to make sure that we have the latest, most secure version of Flash Player on all the systems (literally thousands) in our college. We have a mix of unmanaged staff/desktop systems and locked-down (via Deep Freeze) classroom and lab systems. We have no formal patch management system at this time so we're going to have to do this with our application deployment tools.
It would be ideal to put the whole college on the Extended Service Release (ESR) build for the sake of simplicity (less frequent updates), but I'd like to know if that is going to cause any problems on systems where Creative Cloud is installed. ESR is back at version 13.x and the current release of non-ESR is up to 17.
Thanks,
Ric
