I have been trying now for a solid week to create an OSX installation package with this sad excuse for a deployment tool. I have a freshly-unboxed MacMini running Mavericks, connected to my corp network with a cable, on an IP that bypasses firewall/bandwidth controls. I have all power/sleep options disabled. User account is Admin.
Problem #1 is that it won't download more than 2 or 3% before getting "server is not responding" error. After several days of hitting Retry the pattern changed; it would return to the app-selection screen, with some apps green, some with the icon for "partial" and some with the exclamation point indicating a "problem". Restarted the packager, tried again, kept getting same result. Called into support and after two days and 4 hours they said "my user account must be corrupt", had me create a new OSX admin user. I was then able to download and create a package for Muse (as a test.)
So I try again to create a package including all apps and again I'm in the same "server is not responding" loop, having to hit Retry every hour or so.
On a PC connected to the same network I had everything downloaded and packaged in a day.... any ideas?
