Thomas Gilbert: you really aren't giving me any help, so basically you are telling me that the product we paid for is now useless?

Deepti: We are not stopping you to use the product, it is just that we cannot help you with this product.

SCCM 2012 R2 and Adobe Create Cloud

i have built the package with the new adobe packager that said it puts acrobat and all in the build folder.  now I want to deploy the package with SCCM 2012 R2.  but was it the .bat file that I need to create to make that happen.  I want quiet unattendend install and not reboot for machines.

How on earth do I contact Adobe?  I am sick of getting e-mails from them that I cant reply to and there is no guidance about fixing up my account.

Activating previously purchased version of Photoshop

Hi,

 

How do I add previously purchased license for Photoshop? I do have a team cloud with 6 licenses right now, but we have a few permanent licenses that we'd like to reactivate now after these machines have been reinstalled. I extracted a serial number from original installation, but adding that number in current team cloud is impossible because Adobe server claims number is too short.

 

How can I activate these original licenses? Or add them to cloud? Or actually use them in any way?

To install Acrobat DC along with the other applications use setup.exe from the Build folder (rather than the msi).

Perpetual licenses can't be 'added' to a Creative Cloud Team.

 

"I extracted a serial number from original installation" - this method will not give you the real perpetual serial number, the serial is obfuscated in multiple ways.  You can easily find the serial number if you registered the product.

Installing Adobe Acrobat DC with a license

We buy new PCs and laptops that come with a Acrobat Standard DC license. When you have a physical product key in hand, how can I bypass the "sign-in" to use the product feature ? We have several users that use these PCs and we don't individual users having to create Adobe IDs to use the software ? This is very annoying and never had this issue in the previous versions of Adobe Acrobat.

Is it possible to license the software any other way when you have the product key ?

 

Doing some research online leads me to "Adobe license customization" wizard. Where can I download this utility and how do I use this ? Are there any instructions available ?

It sounds like most of that would be due to the end of the first-year (introductory) promotional pricing for education customers.

 

As for the rest, if you read through this related Forum thread, it should give you a better idea on how & why currency-related price changes happen.

Adobe Update Server - Updates

Hello all.

 

Here we have two campuses that I have an Adobe update server for say a BCampus and ZCampus. When I run the RUM tool at the ZCampus, it finds, downloads, and installs updates without a problem.

 

Our BCampus is 40 minutes away, but I have a VM BAdobe server created for this campus, and the override file that is used to create the package is directed at this server/file. However, every time I run RUM tool on BCampus, it never finds any updates. it always returns with exit code 0. I can connect to the server on any Mac that I have CC installed on. I am not sure why this Mac lab does not "see" the updates that are available on the server for that campus. Any help would be appreciated.

How can I verify licenses migrated from CCT to CCE?

i am license manager and have used cloud packager with serialization file to migrate licenses from CCT creative cloud teams to CCE creative cloud enterprise. How can I verify that it worke?
