Shared Device Licensing is only for CC 2019 and later.
Make sure you build an SDL license package in the Admin Console Packages tab, not in Creative Cloud Packager.

Should it be a self service or managed package?
I'm doing an installation for the CC via Jamf for all of our users and every system it's installed on needs to be repaired. I was wondering if anybody knew the command line repair so that I could just script it into the installer and have it as a separate package for when the CC breaks.
Hi,
I had a look at your Admin Console and from what I can see you have not yet begun to migrate to Shared Device Licenses. The ability to package SDL won't be present until the migration has begun. If you want to learn more about the migration process check the document below. You might also want to book an expert session with our team who can tell you more about the process, you can do this from the Support tab of the Admin Console.
Moving this query to Deployment for Creative Cloud for Team, Enterprise, & CS community.
Hi,
Can you expand on what you mean by 'repair' ? Is the issue with the licensing, the application or something else? What is the problem you are running into?
How do I run the repair of the Creative Cloud itself. When I install the application from Jamf it tries to launch and says that it needs a repair in order to function. So I would like to script in running a repair when it's installed. No licensing problem.
Is it the issue in this document you are encountering? Adobe Creative Cloud, needed to resolve this problem, is missing or damaged
The fix here is essentially to reinstall the Desktop App, so you could build an Desktop App only package and roll that out.
That fix is not viable as this is being housed in Jamf to install because our users are not given admin rights. Also this is going to 80+ systems so I'm not going to manually repair them all each time it occurs. A repair fixes the issue, but users cannot run it, so I would just like the command line to repair and then I can make a script available to them from Jamf.
Hi,
Have you added the users to the Admin Console and given them entitlement by adding them to a Product profile?
If that product profile has Notifications turned on then the users will be sent an email.
If option 2 (uninstall/install) is a solution that works it should be an easy task for Jamf.
A simple Self Service item that will allow the users to re-apply it when ever needed.
Or I guess you could use Composer or similar to track the changes if you prefer that.
If you do prefer a script perhaps you can reach out to Adobe support directly. With 80+ installs some sort of support agreement must be part of the deal.
Just some ideas...
Uninstall/reinstall is not a very good option as the uninstaller that comes with CC rarely works and requires the Adobe Cleaner Tool to run to adequately remove it, which I prefer not to do. I would really just like a command line for running repair.....
Sad to hear you've encountered issues with the uninstaller. That's not my personal experience.
I'd go for Adobe Support then. Or Composer.
Hi, from what I understand, currently the Creative Cloud will not update a few of the adobe programs if running Server 2012.
Will this be resolved in the next version?
Thank you.
.....
I develop my videos on a laptop with Version 13.x of Premiere, but render the videos (because it is resource and time intensive) on a Server 2012 render system.
Thus, I get the error that Adobe cannot open the files because they were created on a newer version of Premiere
Hi Add,

I had created adobe update internal server and config file (AdobeUpdater.Overrides) with adobeupdateserversetuptool and Apache, and deploy this file to client PC, Client PC had installed adobe create cloud 4.8.1.435, but when i want to install adobe app in adobe create cloud,it show below error
Exit Code: 125

FATAL: Fatal Error '125' occurred while download
FATAL: Error occurred in install product workflow with error code 125 error message {http://CN-GZ-SRV-AUS//ACC/services/ffc/packages//PHSP/20.0.4/win64/Application.json?name=P HSP&version=20.0.4&platform=win64&build=20.0.4.76,P:-4,PS:404,G:-4}
I found Application.json.aamdownload in adobe update internal server floder (ACC/services/ffc/packages//PHSP/20.0.4/win64/) is 0 KB,is that right?
Create AdobeUpdater.Overrides command below
AdobeUpdateServerSetupTool --root="F:/AdobeUpdate" --genclientconf="F:/AdobeUpdate/config/AdobeUpdaterClient" --url="http://CN-GZ-SRV-AUS/"
Client PC can use browser to accecc http://CN-GZ-SRV-AUS/ and download files without any error.
How can I slove this issue?

Hi,
The next updates of our applications will have support for Server 2016. I am not aware of any plans to support Server 2012.
Leov52643058, sorry you are facing errors while installing Creative Cloud applications. What type of a Creative Cloud membership do you have? If you have an individual membership then you will want to begin by installing the Adobe Creative Cloud desktop application as discussed in Learn how to download your Adobe Creative Cloud apps .
I make a installation package from de adobe website.
After that I download the zipfile, I unzip the file want to install the software.
During the installation I get error message.
