I have CS5.5 running on Windows 7 - Acrobat X Pro crashing.

I have CS5.5 running on Windows 7 - all good until 2 weeks ago, now Acrobat X Pro is constantly freezing up.  Have had "fatal error" message, and message that it cannot connect to DSS server???  Have uninstalled and reinstalled.  No joy.  Any hints?
