You usually buy as many licenses as you have people. 7 licenses, 7 people. Team of 7. But check the details, it's very important to choose the right license type.

Try to install "XDCC-9.1.12_nl_NL_WIN_64" getting the following error:

After that a rolling back will take place and the installation failed. Zie log part below this line.

Any idea how to solve this? I cannot install the update on any windows 10 computer.

Up to version XDCC5.0.12_nl_NL_WIN_64 never had such porblem.

Hi,

I did and didn't. I had to create the packages on a different machine (running 10.12). I'm working with Adobe to figure out what the issue is, but currently, we're not sure what's up.

Will post back when we have an answer...

I installed the Adobe Creative Cloud, and installed everything including trials from there. After I purchased, the trails stopped working. I have to uninstalled all of them and then re-installed. The codec pak has been installed successfully. However, when I installed the After Effect, it always hit an error 183. Something was blocking the installation.

I am using Windows 10. System is updated with newest patches.

I have experienced difficult Adobe installation processes before. It is so disappointing that I still experience the hardship on year 2018.

Thank you for your attempt to find an answer. Indeed, the info is not really usable in my case.

Also I’m still wondering what did change in the way XD will be installed between version 5.0.12 and 9.1.12.

Hi,

This error is usually associated with installing with insufficient admin privileges.

I am not clear whether you are an individual user or part of an enterprise. If the latter then I would suggest contacting your system admin who should be able to help install with the correct admin rights.

To check or change your user account type as administrator, complete the following steps:

  • Press Windows + R keys on your keyboard.
  • Type netplwiz and click OK.
  • Click the Users tab.
  • Under Users for this computer: select the account you want to change.
  • Click Properties.

That's great thanks, it's just when I go to publish my site I receive the message 'Ready to publish? Great! But before we do that… You need to upgrade from your free trial. - Pricing / Continue Trial'.

Do you know what I need to do from here?

Hi,

The issue there is that your product entitlement does not include services or storage and Portfolio is a service.

Named Licensing on Multi-User Computers

I recently went through an onboarding call with Adobe and I am in the process of getting my organization set up so that it can use named licensing instead of serial licensing.   I have my organization federation all set up and that is working and I am in the process of setting up the tool that will sync user accounts from my Active Directory to Adobe Creative Cloud Admin console.

I have asked this question of Adobe during my phone calls and no one can seem to help me.   We are an environment where we supply a device to our teachers and students for their individual use but we also have a few computer labs with more powerful desktops for things like Graphic Design, Video Editing, and AutoCAD.  These are multi-user computers where a different student will sign in every class period so I am curious how that would work with the named licensing limitations.   I know that a user can sign into up to 2 devices at one time and if they exceed that they will get prompted to sign out of other devices but it seems if a student signs into a multi-user computer and then signs out of that computer (but leaves themselves signed into the Adobe apps) the next user that signs in is still using the license of the previous user and does not get prompted to sign in.   I was hoping that once I had the federation and SSO set up and working that it would automatically sign users out of their Adobe ID when they signed out of the computer but I do not think that is the case.

I think this whole named licensing model with user accounts is going to cause a whole new level of support headaches for organizations such as schools where they have teachers and students that move around a lot and potentially can use many different computers
