Hi Jason,

That's an unexpected behaviour.

Please try this on one machine first.

1. Sign out of Creative cloud desktop application.

2. Now make sure none of the adobe applications are running in the back end.

3. Delete the folders, SL Store, SL cache and OOBE

Windows -

ProgramData\Adobe\SLStore.

C:\Program Files (x86)\Common Files\Adobe\Slcache

C:\Users\username\AppData\Roaming\Adobe\OOBE

Mac -

Library/Application Support/Adobe/SLStore.

Library/Application Support/Adobe/SLCache

Macintosh HD>Library>Applciation support>Adobe>OOBE .

4. Open any application now, (Right click run as Admin)

5. It will prompt you to sign in , please sign in and then for couple of days check its behavior.

I know this is an old post, but im sitting with the same problem. Checked the server after the initial download. Got 20 errors and it seems like there is non of the newest updates for the CC collection.

Screenshot from my AUSST server you can see the date for when the folders was created. No sign of either 2017 or 2018 updates

Hi,

As these were installed from a CCP package try an msi uninstall.

The packages which are installed from the "Build" subdirectory should be uninstalled using the same package, namely by running the msiexec command with the /uninstall switch, e.g.

start /wait msiexec /uninstall photoshop_and_illustrator.msi /qn

Another approach is to build an 'uninstall' package using CCP. See here.

Adobe CC device licensing not automatically recognizing

I have a valid VIP agreement and the dashboard shows that I have 46 licenses that are not in use, however, when I install my new deployment that I just created it does not recognize that I have active licenses to be used with the installation.  It now only allows me to use the trial version of the product.  Please advise on how to fix this issue.  Steps already taken are the licensing deployment, clearing cache and logging in with my adobe ID as well as complete uninstall and re-install of the adobe CC products.

We are trying to connect our Creative Cloud Asset repository to an AEM Instance.  While trying to create the connection we discovered that we cannot get into to complete the setup process.  We are not sure of the exact issue, but it appears we have users setup to use Creative Cloud. 2 Companies are trying to test to see if whether AEM cloud can access my companies cloud and vice versa. (1 componaies objective is to be able to exchange assets with the other partner agencies through the Creative cloud interface.)

This was the only thing that worked for me after one whole day of fighting with this program. Thank you for this detailed response, you were more helpful than Adobe so-called "support". Cheers!

In my products/AdobeProducts there is the following folders:

Looking at the reference link you send and the content of the folders it matches with newest version fx ILST version 22.0.1.253.

So to understand this correctly the server is up-to-date? Because when I try to update with RUM on a workstation it says all seems to be up to date. Even though its version 2017 on that workstation.

So what do the companies do that do the device licensing option, been trying different approaches to this update problem. When I sign in with an adobe id, it only lets me try programs even though its already installed on the machine, no option to update installs. The Creative Cloud packager is configured to use our internal server and update through desktop app. If I leave the installation to itself updates are never installed. So how does the AUSST server update device licensed installs?

Device licensing will have a problem with this workflow as the Desktop App requires a named user sign in. When you sign in your Adobe ID has no entitlement so you get a trial version. The solution is to build a deployment package with Creative Cloud Packager for the full applications. The updates can still come via RUM.

Ahh okay so now I understand the workflow. If device licensing is in use I create a new package when a new version comes and then distribute it to the computers, then updates for that version will be taken from the AUSST server via RUM. But just to clarify the updates folder(AUSST server) should not have updates for newer versions of the CC suite like Photoshop CC 2018?

Do you know if there is a roadmap for making RUM able to upgrade to newest version of an installation?

Correct though it looks like I found the solution. I can successfully install the packages once I install the 1709 update from Microsoft. I am not saying that every Windows 10 pc has had this update, but the ones that were failing are successful now after applying that update.

Do you know any reason why this might be?

Thank you,

Erik

Hi,

Correct, you will see those updates in the product folder under AdobeProducts.

Regarding the roadmap to change this behavior, I don't believe there are any plans to do so. Most organisations do not want to push new application updates via these kind of automatic updates because they want to control the versions of the applications that are deployed as changing the versions can impact their existing workflows.

CC for team device licence - error 190 unable to install on win7sp1

Just made a package of CC for Teams for education (device license) . Deployed the .msi via barramundi software to an Win 10 notebook without any issues. Tried the same package for win7 professional SP1 x64 Computers but all i get is a very long setup routine resulting in an error 190 in the PDApp.log (The HDPIM Setup Process return code is (190).Stopping the installation process.) But Microsoft Windows Version 6.1.7601 should be ok as far as i see.

Copied the whole build-package locally, startet it as admin, used the cc uninstall tool ... but iam not able to get this thing done on our win 7 machines.

Somebody has an helpfull hint`?
